New Season Visual Merchandising Tower Bridge
September marks the launch of Autumn and this month has been a busy one with new season window displays and visual merchandising being installed in our retail clients.
Taking inspiration from the beautiful shades of nature this season, I created Autumn themed displays with the windows and in store areas within The Tower Bridge Gift Shop. Using brown paper boxes, natural ribbon and artificial autumn leaves and garlands these textures created eye catching displays within the store.
It was great to work with an ex-Harrods Visual Merchandising colleague, Frankie O’Brien this month when we installed thew new season displays at the Nespresso concession in John Lewis, Cambridge. The installation titled “ Vertuo Pop “ was created to promote the two new colours within the Vertuo Pop Coffee Machines ; Aqua Mint and Spicy Red. A fantastic display to install but due to creating the pops of brightly coloured weaved wool it ended up being an installation which needed a lot of time and patience to create the correct effect ! We were both so happy with the finished effect and was pleased to see a positive reaction from the Nespresso customers too !
The final week of September is taken up with Christmas planning and design for projects due to be installed in October and November. I am very excited to be at Longleat Safari Park next week to commence the installation of their Christmas Shop for 2022, it is unbelievable how quickly the Christmas installation period has come around this year !
